The first thing I do, especially in this warm and humid weather, when I get home is take off my makeup. After commuting and pounding the pavement, subway grime, sweat, pollution, makeup and dust stick to my skin. Icky! Because I'm so keen to let my skin breath and feel fresh, I reach for gentle makeup remover wipes designed for sensitive skin or alcohol free baby wipes. However I recently came across Korres Materia Herba 3 in 1 cleansing emulsion, a toning, makeup remover and moisturiser in one. The first time I learnt about this was at the NY makeup show. Makeup artist, James, touted the benefits and versitility of this emulsion as an effective product for streamlining cleansing, toning and moisturising.
For me, I found this emulsion very different to others I've used before. The cleanser is lightweight and feels like a moisturiser but dissolves makeup and waterproof mascara quickly. Best of all it all comes off in one swipe and there's no need to rinse. Surprisingly, skin also feels hydrated afterwards and there's no real need to apply moisturiser. I loved how only a small amount was required to clean my entire face and the lack of scent. This is always a winner in my books as scent sometimes is added to hide the chemical smell or some of the ingredients.
Aside from it's extraordinary cleansing and hydrating properties, 3 in 1 is formulated with botanical extracts, almond oil, and glycerine which protect and soothe. For those with sensitive skin, this cleanser is very gentle and did not irritate my skin.
The emulsion is packaged in a tube which makes it handy for travel. Better still the box and tube are recyclable. I'm definitely going to tote this home with me when I head back to Australia for an upcoming trip.
3 in 1 is suitable for sensitive skins and lazy Mavens who want a product that cleans quickly and effectively while hydrating and soothing the skin. Regarding James' endorsement, I totally agree.

OOH I have to try too!! I loove Korres products I was actually thinking of getting their facial wash soon as I finished up my Angels on Bare Skin. I was thinking about getting Materia Herba or the White Tea Cleanser--in fact heck, I was thinking of getting their Regimen Kits like Wild rose but maybe I should look into the Materia Herba one as well...Oh well I got time until I finish up my AOBS.
This one's a MUST. I love it. Korres stuff totes rocks. Once you try this, I guarantee you'll love it so much you'll start using their other stuff too.
